I have terminated my articleship w.e.f. 25.12.2011, which is just 2 weeks prior to completion of year of my articleship. i have got form 109 signed by my principal.
Do i have to join other firm before expiry of 1 year or i can take my time to select a good firm ??

Dear Ketan,
Since you have taken Form 109 from your Principal before the end of the first year of your articleship, it is a case of Transfer and not Termination.
Form 108 would amount to Termination.
Plus now, you have only 1 month to select for another firm, if you fail to do that then your FInal CA attempt will be delayed by 6 months. In your case, you have to join anoither CA firm by January 26, 2012. Please get yourself registered with another firm as soon as possible.
Any number of transfers are allowed but they are restricted to the first year only.

plese tell me in how many days ICAI process the 109 form for termination.. I had submit my form 109 on 7th December2011 but still i hv not recieved any accepting letter from ICAI.?????
May be only 1 1/2 or 2 months.......Dont worry letter will came.

ICAI will send you a confirmation of 109 by the end of Janurary. Till then you can register yourself with another firm filiing the forms 102 and 103.
