Articleship transfer before receipt of registration letter

I'm in urgent need of a solution. That is why I'm creating this topic again.

I've joined for articleship in a firm in December 2012. I sent the Registration form in December itslef(with deed of articles dated 27-11-2012).Due to some health issues I wish to take transfer from my current firm. I have received a "Receipt of fees" letter from Accounts section. But have not received registration letter yet. I checked my Registration status online which shows "No records returned". Is it possible to take transfer before I get the Registration letter? Is there any way out? Please reply ASAP.

one of my friends also dint get the article registration letter..but she was actually registered and things were alright...please go in person to the concerned regional office and enquire there.....v did the same in her case....

No u cannot take a valid transfer till u get the original letter from icai for reg with firm which u joined in dec12 so u can start working in new firm bt then u need to wait for reg papers tocoe from icai and den fill in form for transfer for which u might require the details from the reg letter of first firm.

I checked my Registration Status online. My name and details are being shown in the same. So, it means that I have been registered right? Should I still wait for the letter to come?
