Can someone plz help me..I am a CA final student doing my articleship in Chennai..I plan to terminate articleship from here by the end of next year.. Can i transfer my articleship and join a new firm nxt year?? It is not for any of the reasons stated by the ICAI.. I vil still have about 1.5 years left of my articleship at end of nxt year... I desperately need that transfer...Could anyone give their insights on this plz..

As per instructions While forwarding the form no. 109 the principal shall state specifically the reason under which the articles have been terminated. Hence u will have to specify a reason for termination. You should take help of your CA to "frame" a reason. If you want to move to another city then it would be little easy to get termination, but if u want to remain in chennai then it may become difficult.

If possible then u can apply for termination right now as the new provisions will be applicable form 1/5/2009.

Hi,

I am a ca final student, serving my last year of articles in vijayawada. Now i want to terminate my article ship in vijayawada with the reason of marriage. what is the procedure to get termination. Did i was supposed to produce any evidence to institute. can the letter of my priciple will serve the purpose? Inform me as early as possible pls.

@ jhansi : u should give application with the reason, n ICAI wil definately allow u for transfer because ur problem is genuine bt ist all get the permission den only send 109

hi,

my name is sushree . i am undergoing articleship.presently its past three months since i have joined articleship.now i want to take transfer. my principal ha refused to give transfer till april. can anyoone tell me without his consent can i terminate myself from training and join somewhere else .
