Yes. ICAI will sent a letter to to your previous boss and a copy of the same to you confirming the transfer details.
This will happen once the Form 109 properly filed with ICAI. ICAI will take one or two months time to sent the letter. It depends case to case. Some will receive letter immediately and some may take time.
