Please tell me the Indore stipend rate or tell me about the definition of population .Is it current population or population as per 2011 census.Population of city or district what should be considered.

Population., we need to take from latest census and here I am giving the stipend details as per the latest ammendments by ICAI.

The place where ur doing the articles is relevent for considaration of population not city or district.

For Example:-If ur doing the articles in a small town take the population of that Town.

Classification of the normal place of service of the articled assistant	During the first year of training	During the second year of training	During the remaining period of training
(1)	(2)	(3)	(4)
(i) Cities/towns having a population of twenty lakhs and above.	Rs. 2000/-	Rs. 2500/-	Rs. 3000/-
(ii) Cities/towns having a population of four lakhs and above but less than twenty lakhs.	Rs. 1500/-	Rs. 2000/-	Rs. 2500/-
(iii) Cities/towns having a population of less than four lakhs.	Rs. 1000/-	Rs. 1500/-	Rs. 2000/-

Sir what to do if CA has reduced amount after two months.

At the time of joing he will definitely tell about How much he is offering stipend to Both groups passed students and for single group students".If ur behavior is good in office nobody will reduce the stipend during article ship.It's better to ask ur CA once about reason for reducing.
