My articleship started in sep 2012.I took a transfer in Aug 2013 first week.I joined a new firm in mid Aug 2013.I submitted the form within 15 days of leaving the earlier principal.Recently i was acknowledged that my articleship is not re-registered because my new principal's articles limit is full and he was not knowing the fact at time of my form submission .Now i dont know what to do?As per ICAI records my articlehip is still pending from aug 2013.What should i do?what are the possible consequences?Please help.

Pradeep I have also gone through the same thing, According to me you can join any other partner of same firm or you can join under any other chartered accountant. Before going to take a decision discuss the same with CA institute and your principal. Mid August to till date articles will not be counted.

Agreed with Vamshi. The period from august will not be counted.......
I think while joining under new principle U can join back dated by paying the prescribed fee while sending your Form.103
Bhargav teja - it s not possible. Date of frankling is the start date of your articles and it cannot be given back dated.
I agree with you Vamshi Bhai.. But Frankling is done on Form.102, Which is generally not asked by ICAI. So ,we can pay the requisite fees and send the form.103. Of course it is not a permissable but we can do that in case we are loosing our Final attempt. One of my Seniors in our Ofc had done the same.....
