A good move that you do not want to waste your time at present and get abreasted with basics. The basic thinsg that ou should keep in your mind is what interest do u have to take up in future. If you are much interested in tax then join a firm where tax exposure is good.

Next is that when you are actively taking up your training have an overall expsoure and try to understand at a broader sense. Link up the different areas and their needs. For instance when you are interested in tax check out the provisions where a person can come in various tax acts and also in one act different provisions. Learn at broader sense in short.

Get your self socialising in professional areana. Take part in conventions, conferences, Summits. Present papers. This will help you to make yourself in line with seniors and also achieve a different level of confidence. Start sharing knowledge like writing articles and blogs.

Prefereably this things can be learnt at a mediocre firm. Their are two main artciles which have been a guiding factor.
