Articleship problem

i think it is allowed only once ( for some spceified reasons ) , that too within 12 months from the commencement of Articleship.

Yea its in the first year of Articleship only.

But the poroblem is the candidate has terminated on the medical reasons from the Big firm as in that situation he would not be able to take up the same task & work pressure of a Big firm & then to safeguard his CA Final attempt has joined a small firm which is in the next building to his house where he can be taken care of. Thus, when now he is well & in a position to take up the same task & work so wanna join a Big firm again.. Can that be possible..

i first year u can take any no.of transfers. but after it transfer ll be allowed after satisfing some specified reasons

Shayad Yuun Baar - Baar Badal Nahi Sakta ... KyunKi It Doesnt Make a good reading if someone keep on changing his/her articleship.  So Most probably , it may not be allowed.  But it depends upon the situation. Pls Consult some Experts.

As per latest announcement made by icai somwhere in the month of may/june on the said issue, ICAI has clearified that in the first year of articleship no permission is requiried for taking transfer as directly Form no 109 can be submitted once it has been signed by the relevant principle and will be accepted by ICAI.

In subsequent year First a letter need to send to ICAI requesting for their approval for transfer as only if the reason specified by the applicant  in application is permissible by ICAI then only can submit Form 109 for  transfer otherwsie it will will be rejectedBy ICAI.

In the given case in ma view medical reason is a permissible reason and i think ICAI will allow transfer even in if it is a case of subsequent year subject to proving of the said medical reasons by submitting the various doctors certificate in this matter as ICAI may require.

Within One year of your articleship, You Can take more then 1 Transfer as per the provisions there is no specific limit mention related to termination of Articleship within a One year
