Articleship period query

Dear Sir,

I registered as article assitant in Aug 2008 in PCC Scheme for 3.5years after which institute announce new course IPCC(3 year articleship) so i take transfer from the article ship and join IPCC and passed ist group now i want to register again as an article assitant but my question is what is the period of remaining articleship (3.5 years minus old articleship period i served already) or (3years minus old articleship period i served already)
