Articleship 3081 views 7 replies

Hi Friends

Good news who has worked under Auditor before cpt and ipcc they will get exemption in their articleship period.

PROVIDED that a candidate who was registered as an
articled assistant before the commencement of the Common
Proficiency Test shall be eligible to continue and complete the
remaining period of practical training as per the deed of articles
executed under these regulations irrespective of any break in the
continuity of training:

This is provided as per THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS
REGULATIONS, 1988

and please confirm with your ICAI Branch and if you have any doubt contact me

Regards

Hi,

One of my friend was worked in a Chartered Accountant Firm for a period of 5 years, after registering himself for PEII. But he not yet completed his PEII. Is there any option for him, to claim that working period as Articled Assistant or Audt Assistant, but he is not registered for Articles with Institute, since he is not eligible to register under PEII Scheme.

Hi Aravinthan

The problem u have put is bit complicated but i can give you an idea about PEII article ship please go throuh CA Regulation Act that i have provided in the link

hi...
i had sum queries..like m doing full time MBA..n i want to persue IPCC together..so is articleship compulsary with this?

@ Ishani:

Once after clearing the IPCC 1st group/both groups, you need to start articleship of 3 years. During the period of articleship, only one course at a time is permitted by ICAI to do, with its permission in Form 112. However, you should make sure that class timings of MBA are not conflicting with full time articleship training hours of the firm you joins.
