Hi All I Registered for IPCC thru direct entry scheme and started articleship on Nov15th last month. I have completed Orientation course at chapter and waiting for ITT training to commence.
My question is will i be eligible to appear for NOV 13 attempt coz i have to take one month leave for ITT training?
Also want to clarify that i have to submit only one form 103 to icai before 1 month after commencing articleship and submit other two 103 forms to principle? Iam correct

Hii Abhiram,
Firstly You are Eligible for the november 2013 attempt of IPCC(as you have started off your articles so early as on novmeber'12) anyways, just you need to fill up the exam forms which will be out in september.
Secondly, There is no need to take 1 complete month leave from office for ITT , take morning batches and complete the same(if available).
Thirdly, There are three sets of 103 form(in triplicate) which are to be sent to ICAI withiin a month of the date of commencement to avoid any penal amount.(late fees).
one form to the ICAI, another to your CA (employer) and the last copy is totally yours.

there is one more thing which is introduced by ICAI :
GMCS course is also to be completed within 1st year of articleship(MANDATORILY)
I saw that you have started your articles as on november'12 so you must technically complete your GMCS- part I before november'13.
having exams on head and the thing GMCS will not make things as per you, complete it before time.
And yes for GMCS you need to apply for leave, just like you must have done for orientation course.

yes, once in 1st year of articles, and the second one must be after 18 months or last year of articleship
