I cleared ipcc in may 2014 and applied in a few medium firms!! got a call to undergo a written test and an " excel" test today evening. Happy as well as scared!! Can anyone give me an idea as to what exactly might be asked in the written test? The firm deals in tax,audit,internal audit, bank audit, etc...and what all should we know to undergo a MSexcel test ???

i think you have given interview .but anyways in interview for articleship,,,,, CAs dont ask too much but largely depends on the firm,,,,,,,,,,,,.regurarly get updated to the amendments in dt and idt.for excel they may ask you whether you know the advanced part jus say you know the basic part and some functions of advanced part i have one file of excel downloaded from caclubindia i will upload for you it is vlookup and hlook up nice file.
Be positive in interview and confident.it will help you my personal experience.
