Articleship in a newly commenced firm

Hi all,

I got selected in a firm as an article assistant. but the firm is just started two months ago with three partnerns. I ll be the first article assistant if i accept the offer. can i accept the offer? will the exposure be good? i m confused. friends, pls help me.

Dear aiswarya, i think it will be a good opportunity for you to work in a fresh firm as you will get all kind of work which you firm will get. I suggest you to see which type of work the firm is having. Go and ask straight. No to worry in any case and then decide. Do not take your decision very quickly. Analyse all your option. According to my view, 

Dont go for articleship in that firm at all.

There are chances that you might learn in every field while training n might also train other articles in future so I would suggest you enquire about about their scope of work if more fields r available then go for it.if not look for other firm were u can learn many things rather than just accounting. Also it depends on whether u want to practice or job after degree.
