I too wanna kno whether exam leaves are included in 180 days

Yes! Exam leave is included in the leave slab of 180 days by the ICAI. Though a harsh rule, it will be in place for a forseeable future!

Yes u have to complete the extended period of articleship. then only ur eligible for Nov.10 attempt.

This is frm the Training Guide frm the ICAI:

After passing Professional Competence Examination, a student should register with the Board
of Studies in the prescribed Form and collect Study Materials of the Final Course, and prepare
for the Final Examination. He may undergo General Management and Communication Skills
Course as per Regulations 51A / 72A of the Chartered Accountants (Amendment)

Regulations, 2006 and complete articled training of 3½ years or equivalent audit training.
A candidate shall be admitted to the Final Examination, if he has passed the PCE and has
completed the practical training on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in
which the examination is held.

yes u are eligible for the exam in nov 10...if u complete ur training on the last day of the previous month then u r eligible to appear in the exam for example...if ur articleship completes by 31st october 10 then u r eligible to appear in the exam going to b held in nov 10.

and yes examination leave is included in 180 days leave..bt days on which examination r held r marked as present and not considered as leaves..

Note my words that

"ANY EXAMINATIONS , CONFERENCES, SEMINARS ATTENDED BY THE ARTICLE WILL BE CONSIDERED AS PART OF HIS/HER  ARTICLE TRAINING (will be counted for official 36 hours requirement of the week) .

TIS HAS BEEN SPECIFIED IN THE ARTILCE TRAINING GUIDE ISSUED BY ICAI .

rule for being eligible to appear in exam is u must completed ur article ship before the last day of previous month in your case ie on oct. 10 if you are pcc student and if you are PE II then u must completed 2yrs of your article ship on last day of previous month
