Hello Friends.... Can somebody help me? I am a B.Com graduate with 10+ years of work experience in a MNC. I would like to take a break in my career and want to continue studies. I would like to know

1) Whether I will be given any exemption in doing articleship. Even if it is one year also, it would definitely help.

2) Also, I have an option of taking leave for 2 years in my company. Is it allowed by the institute. (i.e) will they allow me to do articleship without quitting my job or i need to resign my to job to enrol into articleship.

Your guidence will help me to take an important decision.

Dear sir,
unfortunately eiether of ur requirement is not considerable by ICAI
u will not get even a single day exemption out of 3 years, rather if u take excess leaves than u will have to serve the extension period after 3 years.
U will have to resign from ur job for the time being in articleship, as u can not join 2 offices at the same time. I know u will get leaves for 2 years but it will not be considered by ICAI

But it can be considered only in 1 case and that is UR OFFICE TIMINGS OF ARTICLESHIP AND JOB SHOULD NOT CLASH, which is not possible as office timing in articleship is normally 11 to 5.

But there is an illegal way which i would not like to discuss here.
