No, you do not have to appear for the articleship exam as the articleship is completed before the quarter starting April 2018 to June 2018.

No. As your 2nd year would be completed by March 2018, the notification will not be applicable to you.
My Articleship was started on 1st April,2017 and 1st Year completed on 31st march,2018.
