Articleship cutoff date for may 16 exam/mumbai firms

Dear friends, I have cleared my Group 1 IPCC exam this May 2013. What is the last date before which I should register myself as an article for me to be eligible for May 2016 Final exams? What are the forms and formalities regarding this?

Secondly and more importantly, I would like to know the list of decent firms in Mumbai & Navi Mumbai. My marks aren't terrific by any standards, but I would still like to apply in firms where one can get decent exposure; preferably to build a successful base for starting my own practice in future.

The cut off date is 31st october 2013. you can purchase forms 102,103 and 112(they are sold as a bundle) at the institute's sales counter. you can take dd for group II registration fees and 2000 Rs for articles registration provided you have not paid it during ipcc group I registration. i have no idea about firms in mumbai or navi mumbai.
