Articleship completion forms to be submitted

As per my opinion the date of completion of articleship is decided by the student and his principal. If your principal CA agrees to sign on the 1 st jan 2016 as completion date then ICAI never objects it. So first convince ur CA whether he is agree to give on his letter head that your articleship is completed then you have to send directly Form no. 108, no extention. do not worry about study leave its already allowed for 3 months prior to exam.

So its better for u to talk first with ur CA.

hey ! my articleship completion date registered with ICAI is 26/08/2015 IN form 102 and 103 but i did not file FORM 108 in September 2015 coz i didnt attend office in August 2015 and hence my November 2015 Exam form says my articleship will complete on 1ST JAN 2016. (PROVISIONAL)

My Principal will sign Form 108 onli when i mention the aricleship completion date as 1st Jan 2016.

is it ok to have different dates of completion in Form 102 AND Form 108 or do i need to file Form 107 seperately ? moreover, does ICAI accept both Form 108 AND FORM 107 together after serving  extension  period???????

yes its completely OK, because its as per the given procedures and guidelines framed by ICAI. If ICAI itself says that your articleship is to be completed on 1st Jan 2016 then why they would object it later on.

Again just take sign from ur principal / CA on after 2nd Jan that your articleship with him has been completed with extention as on 1st jan 2016. Send the form 108 mentioning 1st Jan as completion date. send it within 7 days by speed post only.

thats it dont worry, its just a procedural part,

also attach one letter from ur CA stating that from this and this date the extended articleship was duly served by the candidate.

so your original articleship + extended articleship completion certificate from your CA both should be send to ICAI along with 108 and 107.

all these letters must be on the letter head of your CA. bearing name of his firm and the membership number, and must bear the date after 1st jan.
