Articleship completed, icai letter says terminated.

Completed my articles on 17/02/2014 but on that date had excess leave which was disclosed in 108 form. I served my excess leave period but my boss still hasn't sent 107. Yesterday received a letter from ICAI which stated "Articles have been terminated as on 17/02/2014 with excess leave of 10 days". My query is whether "terminated" is in sense of completion of articles or any other meaning? Shouldn't it be "completed"?

Terminated is different from Completed. You should have filed btoth 108 and 107 together especially since only 10 days are involved. Now file 107 also and request that records may be updated as articled period of 3years completed
