No not at all cumpulsion .
if you r continuing in current office plz. fill up form 107 and the day u r starting the excess period articleship u should do franking . And within 60 days of joining office u should send form 107 in institute.
otherwise in case of new employer u have to do fill form 102 & form 103 again
