I have cleared my ipcc in may 2011 examinations.I joined my articleship in delhi on 10 october 2011 so my final attempt is in May 2014. Then i took a transfer from there to mumbai on 3 feb 2012. In mumbai i joined in a firm on 13 feb 2012 and resigned from there on 27 october 2013 to pursue for Industrial training. My industry people are ready to appoint me from 2 dec 2013 for balance days to complete three years of training.

please help me out that if i join from 2 dec only then i will be eligible for may 2014 exams or nov 2014 exams , or should i convince them to fill up backdated form if there are severe consequences of joining on 2 dec beacuse there is gap of 10 days in 1 transfer and around 1 month in 2 transfer.and what is the procedure to file backdated form.?

kindly help out ASAP

I think u r nt eligible for may14 buy there is no problem in nov14

sir when not eligible if i start from 2 dec or generally .please explain me with reason also?

You should complete 2.5 year till 30th apiril 2014

10th oct 2011 to 3 feb 2012 & 13 feb 2012 to 27 oct 2013 ........ i.e 2 year 5 days already copmlete so now 5 month 25 days remaning articleship must be complete before 30 th april

thanks sir. if i fill up a pre dated from in it training from 29 /30 oct then i can appear for may 2014 exam. right?

yes........ but no excess leave.......... you may also confirm more from icai or e-sahaytat portel on icai website

3.1 Eligibility

1.    The candidate must have passed the Intermediate/ PE-II Examination.
2.    The candidate must have obtained Final Course registration number from Board of Studies Section of the concerned decentralized office of the Institute after passing the Intermediate/ PE-II Examination.
3.    The candidate must have completed the practical training as is required for admission as a member or is serving the last twelve months of practical training on the first day of the month in which the examination is scheduled to be held: and

NOTE:
The candidate is advised in his own interest to satisfy himself/herself that he/she is re-registered immediately for training for the excess leave period if any, as on the date of filling up the examination form and before the commencement of examination (as applicable). In other words a candidate must have either completed the training or must be in service as on the first day of the month in which the examination is to be held and the balance period of training must not be more than twelve months including excess leave, if any.

sir i have got this from icai website. according to this i will be serving my last 12 months of training on 1 day of may 2014. i will be eligible for may 2014 exams then??
