Articleship a pain or a convenience

DEAR SOURA,

                          i agree with you but tel me if articleship is made optional ,then what wil be fiference between CA and ICWAI ,both are one and the same just because of articleship CA can prosper in his life

let me highlight u some points  for better understandin

1. ur speaking about job,if u dunno how to see balance sheet only as u have no practical exposure,how wil u audit the financial statements,

2. how wil u enchance your communication skills????

3. u wil come in your final year of articleship, many audits of limited review reporting of listed companies,finalisation,tax audits,statutory auditsetc....how wil u check this after passing CA ,wont u feel embarrased after passing CA u have no knwldge regarding these ????

4. and rahi leave ki baat u have to be smart enough to take leaves ,if u work sincerely anyone wil give u and ya there r some fools who due to their EGO dont give leave...so i suggest you to take medical leave for four months for CA final thts more than enough

5. i bet if u show me one person who have done his dummy articles and have been successful in his life.. hope u understand what type pf practical knwldge im speaking ....as i have secured exemptions in law,taxation and i  have gained lot of marks in my exam due to practical exposure

yaar i tell u one thing if u kknow any ca who can give u dummy han take from than and otherside u jooin a ca firm as ajob u will learn aall thing from there articleship not a waste of time but waste of student freedom

agrre with ca sripal sir right but at ur time u can take easily trf but now we cant give trf so better to take dummy and take knowldge from other ca

i have not taken any dummy neither i have taken transfer...and the person who takes transfer shows his inabilty to deal with people ..soory bt thts the development and temparment one need to have while studying

AND YA IN JOB THEY DONT TEACH U ABCD OF VOUCHING AND THEY DONT GIVE U THE RESPECT WHAT U COMMAND WHILE UR IN ARTICLESHIP ..SO PLZZZ TRY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND DONE RUN AWAY

i am telling you a true fact of the life - if any student take a dummy articleship and pass ca-final. he/she become CA. after passing CA if he/she can' do any practical work then what about his/her repo in front of all students and other staff. you will feel insulted.

if you want to know about importance of practical tranning then ask to your seniors. at present industry has selected for job only those CAs who went through practical articleship/tranning from good CA firm.

dummy article ship harmfull for carrer of CA. according to me just go for regular articleship. no option of practical tranning. in tranning you can learn various aspects of taxation, accounting, auditing. but after becoming CA , nobody give this basic knowledge.  there is no substitute for hard work.

if practical tranning remove in ca course then worth of CA in industry will reduce like other professions. CA is Noble profession because of hard work and competence level.

all good points,but if that hard work in articleship came with a little decent money thing would be worthwhile.But you are right  about the practical training.
