Medium size firm, u should select as many things are taught there. If u go in big firms, they are department wise, so u can't get knowledge of all fields. As u said practicing so u should have knowledge of many things. In big firms, as if I know people are appointed as if section of any act. They have expertise knowledge of that particular section. But when u are practicing u should have knowledge of dealing in all circumstances your client come into.
Obviously it's important as per your interest even like direct taxes or indirect taxes or finance like project report or audit firm.
