Ask this question to your principal! He's guilty of professional misconduct! Threaten him that you'll complain to the Institue if this continues.

But unfortunately, this is actually the case with almost all the articles these days. And in case of Big 4, it will be crazy. If you work in Big 4, you'll get one doubt: "Am I working to live or living to work?"

Hey everyone! I'm leaving fb for an indeterminable time to accomplish an important mission!
Good luck, everyone!
Have a great time!

Bro,

35 hours is on paper only and not in practical life. i'm working for 55-60 hours.....:-)

Hey, If you see practically many articles work more than 10 hours a day..especially during audit seasons. So I think you should learn to adapt yourself to the work pressure as this is your very important learning period... I think if you dont have anyother problems for working for longer hours..the only thing you should be bothered about is whether the time your spending in your office is worth...and do you get to learn...

agree with Divya.......

and i will also like to add ,there are some other  restiriction like Tution, office  timings etc....

u have to also consider that things,

“It’s up to you dear what you want to be in future”

Yaar work karne se tum ghat thoda hi jayoge..........Enjoy Work -Enjoy Life

articleship is vvvvvv important dont caclulate like this,  i am sure it will definitely help u in exams......

books ko rtte lagaane se to kahin achha hai kam karna....but what matter is how worthy the task u doing....at the end work matter....degree would only come through rattebaaji.....

i think u should maintain these hrs in ur dairy so it will help u at the time of calculation leaves and most imp at the time of extention in articleship. so u should maintain "WORK DONE " dairy . in that what work u have done, how much time required and office in time & office out time.. I HOPE IT MAY HELP U
