Articleship

I am an articled assistant. I commenced my articleship around 9 months back. In the articleship agreement, I registered myself under the Principal, who was the partner in a firm. Now, the firm has been re-constituted, in the sense the other partner has left. 

So do I have to submit any forms and stuff to the ICAI?

Or is that not necessary, as I registered myself under the Principal - an individual? (although I did mention that he was a partner in the firm - which does not exist any longer)

P.S - Could you also tell me what form 118 is for?

          This is kind of urgent, so I'd appreciate your help.
