There is no hard and fast rule regarding the exact leave quota for articled assistants. What the rules say:

During the period of articled training an articled assistant shall earn leave at the rate of one-sixth of the period for which he has actually served excluding from such period, the period for which he has been on leave subject to a maximum of 180 days.

Which means, 

1. Arrive to number of working days [(3 years x 365 days) - leaves taken]. 

2. Divide the result (1) by 6.

3. If it exceeds 180, then your limit is 180 days, else the result from (2)

hey,can anyone suggest me what is the procedure to change articled employer if i have completed 2.5 yearsof 3.5 years articleship.please reply

max. 130 days if you worked for 6 days per week  for 3 years....

IPCC students have 156 days of leave.. Its a fix number from ICAI..
