Applicability of VAT

In your question it is not clear that material who is provided I mean job work with material or only job work. If person doing job work with material then question of VAT is not raised. And if person doing job work without material from the client then he liable to VAT registration.

The question is whether the Job Works conducted by u fall under the ambit of taxable works contract or not? In other words, whether transfer of property in goods is transfered in execution of job work? If in execution of job work, you are transfering the property in goods, it will fall under the ambit of taxable works contract. If it is taxable works contract u are liable for registration.

Sir, I reside in Gujarat. I want to know, whether Vat is applicable on Clothes or not? If yes, then on which type of Clothes is it applicable and from which date? Plz help to solve my query? Thanking You.
