Am i eligible for 2016 cpt ?

Sir, just two days back i have registered for CPT (online) , and today i have sent the hard copy to ICAI via post,

Now my question is, am i eligible for June 2016 exam ?

As per the new syllabus there should be minimum 9month gap between registration and exam,

And as per old syllabus there should be 6month gap, is it true ?

But i have only approx 5months gap as of now,

then i can't attempt June 2016 attempt ?

Or i can ?

You are eligible for June 2016 attempt. Last Date for you to register is 31-3-2016 , i.e, 2 months prior to the first day of the examination month. All the Best:-)

Thank you bro, Btw do i need to follow old syllabus ??? And from when the new syllabus will be applicable ???
