population below 10000 and 8 kms beyond cantantment board..

ok but if a land is situated beyond the specified limits thn is it a waste land...and government has no authority ovr it..?

No land is waste now a days.....

Ya it will be treated as agricultural land.....For this 2 condition has to be satisfied and both the condition is cumulative..

1. it is beyond 8 k.m. from the purview of cantonment board or municipal authority

2. the population is below 10,000......you have to see the population of municipal corporation not the place where the land is situated.

okie... but if any or both of the conditions remain unsatisfied....then is the distance is 0 km
