Age Limit for Directors Pvt Ltd

Dear All,

One of the Shareholders of my client company (Pvt. Ltd.) is Member of Parliament (M.P.).

Now Company wants to appoint him as Chairman-cum-Director.

My query is-whether a M.P. can be appointed as a Director of a Company when he is a Public Representative i.e. M.P. ?

Please reply on urgent basis.

in mock test of ca club india in final course i find a question in which the minor can be appointed as a director of a pvt. co . in some cases but we cannot apply for din so how can be minnor become a director of a pvt. co ??????????????????????.
