Hello experts and members of CCI

I am searching for suggestion/advice from you all regarding Extension of Articleship.

my articleship will complete by this end of march 2011 in which I took 8 months leave.

my principal did not pay me any minimum stipend in the leave period, stating as I didnt work Iam not eligible for such

He is planning to extend my articles for about 4-6 months stating I took very much extra leaves than allowed......
when asked about such he started insultng me and stated irrelavant reasons as such my conduct was not good, etc,.(to have upper hand on me at that moment) and he ordered me not to speak about this infront of him again
.....But the situation got worse as i met him next day requesting him to not to extend than allowed .....I am very much confused ,scared about this, as he even denied leave for me for this may attempt

Dear Friends, I am not knowing what to do with such a person trying to ruin my carrer

please suggest some advice regarding this, any altenatives availble....

Is there any noticication/case from Instiute regarding non payment of minimum stipend during leaves

Get your form 108 signed and send it, if he insists on continuing i.e. signing of 107, say you'll continue, and you have to send form 107 after your form 108's confirmation is recieved from ICAI. Later don't send 107, rather register under some other CA using 102 & 103.

You'll just not be paid for the excess period, and you are eligible for stipend in leave period too, which in under your limit.

Act good as if nothing as happened, be diplomatic and get away.. ;)

Why would you take leave now? Get your form 108 signed whenever you original articles term end, and join articleship again (another firm, if you desire and find one) after exams, to avoid hassles to find a firm and other registration formalities. This would be same as taking leave, your articleship will anyhow extend to another month in addition to your excess leave period.
