GST or any other tax law do not permit to amend or modify invoices issued once . But in GST accounting software provided by Logic or Tally and many other accounting softwares allowing the users to amend or modify invoices issued even six month back
Due to this customer is demanding other law abiding accounting software users to modify previous bills , otherwise to stop business with them .
Why not department give notice to bar accounting software like Tally which is permitting invoice modification rather than cancelling or issuing credit note , debit note
