Accounting procedure for share trading account

hello.... u could proceed by having  scripttwise ledgers and posting  entries of purchase amt and sell amt per scriptt  inclusive of brokerage charges alongwith quantity.....and then balance shares could be transfer to stock -in-trade or shares investment a/c as per the holding period of shares....

also...create ledger for STT paid per transaction and other charges levied...
