Accounting Entry for F/O trading

Hi,

I have a client who has considerable transactions in Futures trading of shares in a year. Every month he gets a ledger from his broker about the changes in the Margin amount, which is hard to understand :(. How do we account for these transactions and the margin money?

I want to know all the possible entries that need to be passed in futures trading.
