Access files without network?

Is it possible to access files from another computer if i know the IP address of that computer.

In my company, each time, i am asked to work in a computer and there is no netwrok between the comuters.

Any work done partly in one system , either i have to copy in a pen drive or CD or mail to my system.

Is it possible to access my frineds system if i know the ip address.

Will i be able to view files, access, modify, etc.

ip address is given adress to a computer in a network. if a computer is connected through a network then it is given an ip address. and to use ip the computer must be connected to network. otherwise use ur pen drive.

If thesr is Wifi or bluetooth opition is available , then u can access the entire systems without Local Area Network. Otherwise u have to connect the systems through HUB. Eventhough if can access thro' LAN or Wireless your friend has to give share of his sytem. If he is not sharing the system u cannot access the files.
