I applied for gst registration in sole proprietorship case.. Place of business is rented and we apply two proofs - 1. Rent agreement & 2. Electricity bill which is on the name of father who is died...
But in rent agreement owner of the property is son.. All electricity nd water connection are on the name of father... Now deptt. has put objection and wants another proof for clarification.. So what another proof we can apply for registration

owner (son) will have to apply for change of name in electricity bill.
bcz department will need consent/rental agreement in name of person whose name is mentioned on electricity bill

You can use MCD receipt as address proof, if its has in son name.

They have only registery of property in which son name also there as owner after death of father... MCD receipt also in the name of father..
You have to change in any Govt. Department utility bill, so you can complete your registration
