I have applied for PAN no. in UTI and received my PAN card along with the letter from the IT Deptt. while checking the correctness for the same it is shown in the name of other. I made a variouse correspondence to UTI and the income tax deptt. but they are not replied till date as expected from the Govt. Deptt.
If i apply fress application for new PAN no. Is it offence under the provision of the Income tax Act
Pls suggest me what step should be benificial for me
