Sir,

hello to all my friends.

I have a query regarding Service tax. Can we avail input benefit of Service tax i.e we paid on Telephone bills, Rent bills, or mobile bills. If yes kindly update the way and legality of the same. Please reply..

Any taxable service provided by you then you are eligible to be taken Cenvat Credit only relation only such service received by you i.e. direct or indirect input.

yes its right sir, but if you will please elaborate, then i think it will be more understandable.

i am also providing taxable service. So hw can i avail cenvat credt.

If you provide certain taxable services only than you can book and avail cenvat credit..you can reduce your output liability by claiming cenvat credit of input services and input goods , if any,

provider of output service or manufacturer of final product can avail trhe credit of the imput services availed to disharge the liabilty as per CCR. However there must be nexus between the input services and the output serviec or final product.

Kindly read CCR 2204 to attain grip over the subject. definition of input service 2 (l) and rule 3 and rule 4, 9.
