8 mths of audit training = 6 mths of articleship?

Hi...I have seen in the institute site that 8 mths of audit training is equal to 6 mths of articleship...Currently am going through my pcc course...i have cleared my first grp & results r abt to come for my second grp..In the event of me not clearing the grp am planning to convert to ipcc...Pls suggest me whether the institute has relaxefd the study period for 9mths? so that i can appear this nov . in the event of converting to ipcc i can continue my articleship only after my completion of second grp...so i want to go for audit training from this august covering a period of 8mths til may...will that be counted as articleship for 6mths as provided by the institute? being positive that i clear my nxt attepmt i can go for articleship from jan...But i want to continue going audit training for that for another 3mths so that it will be counted as 6mths of articleship training?
