4 day delay in articleship = 6 months delay in attempt

1. whether you are from PCC or PE II

2. if your new principal writes a request to the ICAI it is POSSIBLE

hi.. My case of articleship is also similar to that of yours. Just because of 20 days difference i should wait for a period of 6 Months.

Though a letter of representation was made to institute there was no positive reply for the same. We will have to find some option for the same so that our attempt does not get delayed.

May Be If Ur CA Agrees That U Worked So Many NO Of HOurs Beyond Time Limit Which Is NOrmally 35hrs Per Week To Article Then Institue Might Consider COmpleting Ur Articleship Before Time

FURTHERMORE ITS FULLY UPON UR PRINCIPLE. IF HE WANTS HE CAN  GET THE ISSUE RESOLVED

Final attempt after 3.5 years (PCC) = March 2010 (namely May 2010)

The Point is even if you have done an error it makes not much of a difference.

Considering extension/leave May 2010 attempt would altogether be delayed to Nov 2010. Your error might have saved some extensions to gross period in your case. Either way, you will end up Nov 2010 attempt taking Extension as a major factor

U can take benefit of Extra Hours u worked with ur CA. But ur CA should give his consent for this matter. It is just a matter of 28 extra hours of work which u can give now also.

hey guys same here.....my friend completing articleship on 2nd of may 2011.....his c.a. is ready to give his consent for extra work....so is it sure that it can help????? and to which official i need to talk about that...?????

contact ICAI Delhi and provide then all the information over the phone and get the solution steps over the phone at the same time. and then send the declaration signed by your pricipal 

Rohit 1st u call ur Regional office and connent to the article and final dept. and informed them abt all the happening then ask them what to do and they wil guide you the proper view and accordingly u submit the doc.
