my frnd got defective notice mismatch of 26as .so,instead of replying to defective notice he filed revised return...duration to reply also completd....what to do now?

Check if the reply option is still available in the efiling site.
Otherwise your original return will get processed with rectification as per CPC recommendations; and then the revised return will get processed nullifying the original return.
