Committee for Cooperatives & NPO Sector, ICAI is organizing a National Conference on "Housing Cooperatives” at Mumbai on 18th & 19th July, 2014 jointly with "Maharashtra State Co-operative Housing Federation Limited” and the same is being hosted by WIRC of ICAI. In the seminar there will be discussed various issues on different schemes announced by state Government and central Government to promote Housing for all through agencies such as MHADA, SRA, Repair and Reconstruction Board, NHB, HUDCO etc., Funding arrangement for Co-operative Housings by National Housing Bank , HUDCO and other Banks and refinance schemes, Representatives from stakeholders, Experts, policy makers and Government officials, Over view of Housing co-operatives, promotion of affordable housing through Housing Co-operatives, its registration formalities and requirement, Management of Co-operative Societies by State Co-operative Ministry including role of State and District Housing Federations, Registrar, Co-operative court etc in dispute redressal Mechanism or otherwise, Accounting and Auditing a role of Housing Co-operatives.
