HI FRIENDS
I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT CPA COURSE, I MEAN ELIGIBILITY , CENTRE OF EXAMINATION , AND DURATION OF COURSE, AND PAPERS TO BE CLEARED.
REGARDS,
First, here are some key facts that you will need to know about becoming a
CPA.
You will need to pass the CPA Exam.
In order to become a U.S. CPA, you must pass an exam that has four parts,
the exam is uniform but when you write it you will be doing so for one state
or jurisdiction (the choice of which one will depend on your educational
background). Note that U.S. residency or citizenship is not required.
You have to be eligible to take the CPA exam.
Eligibility requirements vary among the 54 different states/jurisdictions so
depending on your educational background, you may be eligible to take the
exam for only 1 or 2 of them. Discovering on your own which, if any state,
will allow you to take the exams can be time consuming and costly as there
is a lot of confusing and incorrect information available.
It is essential to prepare for the exam.
Most candidates prepare using a CPA review course, especially those who are
educated outside the U.S.
candidates.
Suggested Next Step
If you would like to have more information on the designation, exam or
whether you are eligible, please e-mail LESLIE ANN ROGERS at either la.rogers @ cpaexcl.com
or la_cpaexel @ shaw.ca.
