Which of the form to be filed??

A person is small contractor has received order to work (fixing the aluminium windows and doors) for that he gets his labour or job work. He has received4.75 lacs approx during FY 2010-11. After considering necessary expenses his taxable income arrives at1.62 lacs. TDS was already deducted of2015/- in FY 2010-11.

My question is that Whether he should file ITR-4 or ITR-4S ????

he should file ITR -4 if you are claiming that you have maintained books of accounts....

(assumed since u said after all expense his income is 1.62lacks)

IF PERSON HAVE BUSINESS THEN SUBMIT ITR -4 , AGREE WITH ABOVE

I have considered all the expenses assume basis. Then also i have to file ITR -4

My friend is earning salary as a govt. employee. He has a house on which housing loan was taken by him. Last year he paid interest as well as principal on loan amount. He is using that house for his self occupation. For claiming loss of house property on account of interest paid which form of itr he requires to file. He has no other income & he doesn't use that house for letting purpose.
