if agent provide transport service on behalf of his principal , the freight amount collected by the agent will be a part of his turnover or principals turnover?
and what is the turnover for the agent
whether it is freight or commission that he received from his principal ?

In case when Agent is Raising His Invoice to Recepient:
As.per section 24 CGSt Act Agent is compulsory to take Registration if supplying goods/Service on behalf of taxable person , but as per notification 12/2017, Transportation services by road is exempted so if agent is dealing only in exempted supplies then no need get registered in GST
If Agent is not raisng his Bill to Recepient:
Agent getting only commission from principal then in this case he has to registered in GST only if his aggregate turnover exceeds 20lac
