Taxation of salary received from Hong kong

I have received salary for FY 19-20 from a company based in Hong Kong wherein TDS is also been deducted by the hong kong based employer.

Now as I m a resident in India for FY 19-20 so my global income is taxable in india.

So how will I get the credit of TDS on the salary deducted by the hong kong employer? i.e. As per the exemption method or as per tax credit method?

Quick Summary
If you're an Indian resident who received salary from a Hong Kong company in FY 19-20 and had TDS deducted there, you can claim credit for this tax in India. You'll need to obtain a foreign tax credit certificate from your employer. This credit will be applied using the tax credit method, not the exemption method, when filing your Indian Income Tax Return under Section 90/90A.

You need to get a foreign tax credit certificate from your employer and claim the same under section 90/90a in your ITR
I.e. TDS credit will be received as per tax credit method and not exemption method?
