flooring and tiling work in church compound rs. 8lakh . should it be charged to revenue or considering the amt added to building (capitalised) ?? assessee is a trust / church.

If the building is also getting a renovated apart from tiling and flooring work then capitalise the same and claim as capital expenditure else claim it as revenue expenditure. Since the assessee is a trust if it is claimed as capital expenditure, depreciation on the these assets should not be claimed as it will lead to double deduction
