23 August 2019I receive Residential rental Income from various Residential Properties. That is my only rental income or you can say the only income I have, at all (no other source of income). However, this rental income from residential units exceeds 20 lakhs per year. Will I require to be registered under GST?

No, Since you are engaged in supply of service which is wholly exempt from tax
The fact that your turnover/rental income is exceeding 20 lakhs is not relevant
Since you are exclusively engaged in an exempt supply
i.e renting of residential dwelling for residential purpose
Refer -> Section 23(1)(a) of CGST act
