One of my friend knows his PAN number.He applied for PAN 5 years ago. But he did not get his PAN card. So now he wants to get the PAN card. He also does not know the address for which he applied the PAN card. Now he wants the PAN card. what are the ways in which can he get the PAN card?
Can he get his name and father's name , Date of birth, and address details from the IT website by giving his PAN number???

the best way to deal will b e to find a search of PAN, as the nsdl authorities will ask for some proof of the PAN No. The search itself will give all the details of your friend than u can easily apply for a correction form and get the New PAN. For more info on PAN search contact your nearest TIN Facilitation centre. As far as i know No online info for the same is available

Yes, he can get details partialy i.e Name and address by register from the e-file your returns from www.incometaxindia.gov.in using his PAN NO.
