I have received notice u/s 143/2 (Asst. Year 2014-15). when i have checked my ITR in this my account no. is wrong. its not belongs to me its belongs to some one else. So what to do now.

1) log in to your efiling website.-->accounts-->Refund re-issue request-->give AY, Comm No and Reund sequence number as given in 143(2).
2) Select ECS mode and give correct bank details. viz account no and IFSC code .
Thats it.
I wonder why 143(2) has been sent.? Does it contain Refund sequence no?

Recitify the particulars online :
After Login -> E File -> Change ITR Form particulars & follow the procedure.

I followed this proceedure but message appear you are not eligible to change the ITR particulars.

Hi,
I would advice you to consult a practicing CA/Advocate who is dealing in 143(2) cases.
Even if you have received the notice because of wrong bank account number, the procedure as stated in notice has to be followed.
For the wrong bank account, I think rectification under section 154 should be filed, as the wrong mention of bank account number is a "mistake apparent from record".
